    Howdy, has anyone used any of the line 6 LD bass heads? any good? i'm needing a new rig and i'm not in the mood to spend millions on an svt stack

    I haven;t heard much if anything about them, which isn't a good sign either.

    Honestly, I'd recommend going for a solid state head, or a hybrid (tube pre/ss poweramp). Check out Gallien Kreuger, and also Genz Benz for some awesome sounding SS and Hybrid heads. They won't break the bank either.

    Have a look at the marshal MB series, I got the 4410 and I love it, with the UK prices at the moment you'd get a great deal!

    Its a back breaker but its worth every hernia :)

    Just had a look @ www.soundslive.co.uk and they not shipping marshall gear outside uk anymore, bummer as the 4x10's arent all that expensive. music123 did that with fender gear when the dollar started to decline in strength, now they just dont ship anything outside the US.
    Anyways, back to thread, am thinking of going hartke for the cabs (4.5xl and 1x15 xl), cheap and punchy.
