meh, a little bit too much flash for me .Get's a much after a while. ....I feel a wee bit of self restraint should be exercised. For me music is all about the overall sound comming from all of the band members...not one big 10 minute guitar solo. I got bored after a few mins watching this and the average punter in the crowd would too.His fellow band members don't really seem to be enjoying it too much either :P guitar **** isn't that what we call it?

Just watched the The Dance live dvd again tonight. Lindsey is fantastic on both acoustic and electric. That album is the sole reason I got back into playing electric guitar

He's got a solo DVD out as well which has a brilliant version of Big Love on it

+1. Thats not about the music.

Not that much a fan of the later clapton stuff. Earlier stuff had much more feeling. Much prefer Hendrix Blues.

lol - it's indeed very good, but far from the best. A little sloppy, TBH.

Ever heard of Pete Huttlinger, Bryan Sutton, or Edgar Cruz? I'm not even claiming any of them to be the best, but 3 different styles and all better acoustic guitar players than Monte Montegomery.

Andy McKee or Don Ross, or a combination of the two of them.
They are absolutely fantastic. Check out Drifting, Loaded Leather Moonroof and Spirit of the West. You'd be in for a treat.
