World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Gene Snitsky as of today, December 11. WWE wishes Gene the best in all future endeavors.

I wonder is it still not his fault.

No major loss, surprised he wasn't released a lot sooner to be honest. I guess WWE could only try pushing him as a major heel so many times before they realised they were flogging a dead horse.

not surprised Mike Knox kinda taking over his role anyways

    Nooooo!

    Oh, wait. Yay!

He had a couple of decent mid-card matches with Benjamin years back, and the tag team with Tomko had the potential to be interesting, at least in a conceptual way, but he was extremely lacking. You really have to wonder whats going on when such two-dimensional performers such as Snitsky make it to RAW.

    :o

Im sure if they offered him something decent, not over the top but something, he would probably take it.

Naive of me I know, but I actually had high hopes for Snitsky when he first appeared. Yes, even in the middle of the whole Kane/Lita/Dead Baby thing.

Remember when he destroyed Kane at Cyber Sunday. It was a result I so wasn't expecting. I thought it would be a pure squash for Kane (obviously I didn't realise Kane was going to make his movie at the time.

And the time he punted the doll into the audience, maybe this says a lot about me but I just thought that was brilliant. I really couldn't wait to see what he'd do next. As it turned out it was nothing of any importance

I totally forgot about that. they put so much into all that and then they had him just recluse into the darkness of the mid to lower card.

I'd forgotten it, but I read last night that he had his teeth permanently stained. For his sake hopefully that's reversible :pac:

Sometimes facts out weigh opinion in a discussion. And if you are saying that Snitsky's teeth could not be made look like that with the technology available to dentists in this day and age, I can tell you without a doubt for a 100% fact that you are absolutely wrong. :D

I thought Snitsky had some great potential. He was a good big man, and did as well in the role he was given as any wrestler could have.

Would've been good in a tag team i think .... especially with heidenriech.
