My God, I would kill for a real live game of Funhouse. I was never a huge Pinball fan, but then I downloaded VPINMAME a few years ago and I don't know how many days I lost to Funhouse. Anyone know if there is a playable version anywhere in Ireland?

Hi, are there any smaller pinball machines with ramps available? Most machines in Dublin are in disrepair!!

Damn, just saw the response now. Probably too much for me at the moment anyhow. Anyone know what it sold for in the end?

    Ok guys,

As promised, I am updating everyone on the Irish Meet that I will holding later this year. Confirmed dates are Friday 6th - Sunday 8th November 2009.

So what is the Meet? Well, basically its a weekend of beer, pizza and most importantly PINBALL!!

I will have up to 17 pinball machine set up which should include:

    No Fear
    Party Zone
4 other Dot Matrix Games TBA
    Rollergames
    Banzai Run
    Hyperball
    Black Hole (US Version)
    Spirit
    Firepower
    Defender
    Solar Fire
    Victory
    Genesis
    Blackout
    Black Knight

There will also be fruits, MAMEs, video games, PS3, etc etc..

The Meet will be at my place which is 2 miles from Adare in County Limerick.

There will be pinball competitions over the weekend and if there's enough people there maybe WPPR (World Pinball Ranking Points) on offer which will see you ranked in the world as a pinball player and allow you access to the World Pinball Championships.

So if you're interested in attending, then PM me, email me at andrew@pinball.ie or call me on 087 745 4110

    Andy

    Well done Andy
    ;)
Glad to hear it was a great success.

I have a friend looking for a pinball machine at the mo. He's not after a specific model so he might go for the Black Hole.

I'll send him your details. ;)

    Aidan.

Man, I love pinball machines, used to kick ass at them (Terminator 2 with the skull in the middle being my all-time favourite).

Unfortunately I never get see or play 'em anymore.

I miss the ol' skool arcades. :(

    Hi there Andy,
I am looking for a pinball machine this year and was on your website.
    Pinball.ie

Can you let me know what you have in stock for sale at the mo and what 1000 could get me?

I would be looking at grabbing one before the summer hopefully.
    Cheers

I've just stumbled on this old thread and wondering if there is still interest around?
Pinball.ie seems to be gone. Is Andy still buying/selling pins?

I'm definitely up for some pinball and would love to meet likeminded people into it. I did have a budget set out for a couple of machines but as with a lot of us, stuff just got in the way. I go to Base in Celbridge where they have a Spider-Man machine but honestly that place is missing a trick as far as retro gaming is concerned. I'd be there every day if they had some more pinball machines and Sega Rally 1&2, GTi club, Street Fighter 2, Afterburner, Pang, the list goes on. I'd happily invest in a proper retro arcade with the right location. As for Salthill in Galway, where I cut my gaming teeth. You should be ashamed of how little you have to offer now to all of us who spent our summers and piggy banks there 😭

Stumbled across this and how it has brought back memories of me playing pinball in all the arcades in Dublin cc many moons ago.
Would love to buy a machine but couldn't see the Missus thanking me for it ;(
Looking through the posts has got me thinking a trip into Dublin cc for a few games would be a good way of reliving me youth.
Anybody know where there are pinball machines nowadays?
Most of the places I used yo frequent are all probably closed down now.

According to pinside its $1000-$1200. And thats fully restored. Very hard to tell what the condition of this machine but from the pictures its not good.

I'll give you a clue, the frame on the front, thats not brown paint!

Oh i know yeah its a nice bit of rust on it :), I've sent a message asking does it need a complete refurbish inside and out, Would probably be told to F-off if i offered €6-750 on it.
