Is this Wii Wii a good deal?

    Well chaps,

    Am looking to delve into the world of Nintendo Wii this Xmas..Have my eye on one on ebay...

    Good Deal yay or nay??..

    watch out for the "79 games" bit, its only 3 games and those particular games have limited play value. Wii Sport is about the best of them.

    You are looking at €450 ish so check online on Smyths, Argos, Game and the like to see how it compares.

    Wii Fit is €80-€90, if you can get it. The controllers are €40, nunchucks are a bit cheaper.

    Its not a bad deal by any means, but misleading with the 79 games thing.

    that is slightly misleading, what they are selling is
    Wii console (incl wii sports , 1 wiimote , 1 nunchuck)
    Wii play ( incl 1 wiimote)
    wii fit (incl balance board)
    Carnival games
    1 extra nunchuck

    probably cost around 250+ 90 + 50 + 20ish +30 which would be around 440
    including delivery it would cost around 460 from ebay so its not really worth it .

    I knew I was missing something with the controllers, good spot :)

    I wouldn't be rushing to buy it as you also have the issue of returns if anything goes wrong etc.

    Most places are sold out for the wii console. I know xtra vision in kildare has some left. Got one myself yesterday. Good deal. Wii console, 2 remotes, 2 nun chucks, mario cart, wii sports and a game of your choice for €319. As for the wii fit, looks like they are sold out europe wide. Normal retail price is €80 but if you really wanted to get one you would be looking at €140 + on ebay.
