Name rings a bell alright, he was behind big electric gates in St Margarets and had the Shelby in a barn along with a 'plain' Mustang.
While I'm at it, there was also an electric blue 73 Fastback in behind the Honda dealer on main st. in Swords a few years ago, havn't been out there in a while

Ye could be right on the red bit, age dulls my grey matter:P, Anyways, where's it now ?

While i'm on the northside - I remember a friend telling me there was a 59 Cadillac dumped in a field near the Man O ' War pub. By the time I got around to finding it, it had been half buried under a mountain of clay !

Saw a nice MkI GTI tonight on the N11 at Stillorgan - 788 WZU on old red plates.

Wolseleys are scarce enough in this country, the uncle has a 6/110 and a 1500.

thats the mercedes 190 tailfin. It has round lights compared to the stacked headlights of the SE. I presume the car pictured is a US spec model.

From what I remember there was a description on the car window which said it was a 1955 model which would make it an Oxford II

There was a round headlamp version of the 230 6 cylinder Fintail as well, theres one in Galway. A friend of mine has a 200 Fintail round lamp and a very rare in rhd 219 Ponton.

^ great pics there WA. Thats the Audi Expo at Harcourt St?

I must get there before it ends (sunday 21st).

Those 1930s cars are just beautiful, a very elegant period in car manufacture.
And the Auto Union racer - fantastic! Is it an actual restored model, or a reproduction?

Yes, it's the Audi Expo. It's a bit disappointing as there are only those 3 classics there (as well as an A8, R8, A6, Q7 and Q5). I happened to be in the area but otherwise it's not worth a trip.

I'm not sure - some of the clocks look very modern.

I'll be in town over the weekend, so i'll pop along for a look. The modern ones wouldn't interest me too much, tho the R8 is a head turner..
