Looked at posting this in the Football Forum but its like fort knox, and come to think of it this forum is more suitable, anyway my question is

There was a heated row at our 5 aside footy (plenty of baldie beer guts) last night over the rule at Kick off.

Once the ball is touched forward once at kick off, can the opposing team then play the ball or does it HAVE to go to another player on the team thats kicking off.

An outrageously skilful goal! was scored because after the first touch at kick off, the second player was too fat and bald to actually receive the kicked ball for the second touch and the ball was intercepted and a goal scored. Big row afterwards.

This would obviously never happen probably at any level of football really (except our game) but does anyone know the rule here?

The ball just has to go forward as far as I know but I await to be proven wrong
