I've not heard anything about any fairs and I'm quite central to most of those towns.

Haven't heard of anything there, but if you're willing to travel a bit more there's a christmas shop in Kildare Village full of christmas themed things! Oh and they have a new chocolatier there so if you have kids they'll be kept happy!
