Creating a new profile in COD WaW

Afternoon all.
Just downloaded COD 5 on Steam.

I cant for the life of me figure out how to create an online profile.

When the game asks me to enter a profile name I do.
The game then tries to create the online profile for 2 or 3 mins.
But then returns to the same screen again, asking me to create a profile.

What am i missing here?

restart the game if it fails and try again.

Why am I reading so much bad press about this game after I have handed my money over??

I have read the fix about manually creating a profile folder but as far as I can see that is only for the CD version. The steam version has a different folder structure.

Steam is it? I boycotted that pile of poo a long time ago.

Even if the folder structure is different, surely it should still be more or less the same. Can you find the equivalent folders?

Hi, recently spent over 2 hours to make my CoD WAW work, and i actually succeeded. Using cracked COD5.
