Dreamcast-dolphin allies?

Ninty waaaaaant Sega. Most importantly, Ninty WANT Sega's development studios; they know that if the gamecube was backed up by the likes of Yu Suzuki at AM2 and Yuji Naka at Sonic Team, it would be an extremely powerful market force. Imagine a console with software as good as the DC firstparty titles, AND Nintendo's own catalogue...

Problem is, Ninty's shareholders don't want Sega, because Sega would put a huge dent in Ninty's balance sheet with their enormous losses. It's likely that some kind of deal will be struck that leaves Sega semi-autonomous, but with a huge cash injection from Ninty based on Segas hardware arm not developing a sequel to Dreamcast, and their software arm developing titles for the Cube. This is a good solution in other ways too - it means that the DC wouldn't be dropped summarily by Ninty/Sega, which is nice, since it's a damn good console.
