Reflood land for recreation

    What government dept would one talk to about reflooding land for recreation, angling in particular?

    I'm interested to know about grants in particular.

    The land would be reintroduced to it's natural state. It was reclaimed from sort of flood plain about 20yrs ago, we'd like to reflood it and introduce fish for angling purposes.
    There was a guy on Ear to the Ground last week who done a similar thing.

    It's a farming, environmental and angling issue, who could I approach to find out?
