Batter + deep fried = good! It doesn't matter what's inside the batter. (Unless it's salad because I hate salad and not even batter could make it taste good.)

I disagree.

Beer is the perfect snack, it has everything you need: Sugar, A Cereal (or two),Yeast AND it has the distinct advantage of itself being a drink.
