    hey im doing it i just started it in first year.. just finished my work exp and it was amazing.. do work exp maybe before putting down on Cao to see if you like it ! because i know of people who either loved or hated after work exp with this. hours are pretty good too in first year anyway for the course.

    to be honest with you how any one can drop out after nursing after the first two weeks is beyond me. during these first two weeks you really are doing nothing apart from perfecting the art of standing with your hands in your pockets!
    I'm in my final year of general nursing and am enjoying it.I'll tell you now its not for the faint hearted and those who want an easy course. The college and hospitals expect a lot from you and there really is no time for slacking. Great course for meeting people and experiencing things (trust me!)

    To expand on tnkrbell's point, if you want to drink your way through college, dcu's nursing courses have 80% attendence policy

    Few in my course have fallen fowl to that already.
