Where would you get Art School Confidential by Dan Clowes? Would it possible to buy it in a bookshop in Dublin or would I have to go for Amazon.com?

Play.com have it for a fiver at the moment (well, five pounds sterling, but given the exchange rate these days that should be €6 and free postage). I doubt you'll find it cheaper anywhere, tbh.
