    Anybody else a fan?

    Just got into them recently, acquired their album "The Bake Sale" along with a few free downloads. Have to say I really like them; lyrics are very good, funny and have a real old school style to them, same with the beats. I think its really refreshing and despite listening to their album excessively I'm not getting sick of it! Think they're getting a fair bit of publicity in the States and I'd say soon enough they'll be over here. Saw one of their videos on MTV2 last night actually. I can see them being one of those hip-hop acts that are popular with the indie crowd cos of their style and the way they dress etc, and this can be seen as gimmicky or whatever but i think even behind the image the music is very good and theres a lot of talent there.

    What do yous think, any other opinions on them??

    oh yeah! they are really good :D as is Kid Cudi. he is another breath of fresh air. Where did you get the free downloads - i've been looking and cant find them anywhere!!

    http://www.greenlabelsound.com - i got a track called "delivery man" free here, think its a promo track of some kind. Also on their myspace they have a link to a free download for another promo song - http://www.myspace.com/thecoolkids. Got a few more but I can't remember where exactly, if i find out i'll report back.
    (Mods: I read charter, didnt say anything about this but if i'm not allowed do this for whatever reason i'll be happy to remove/edit the post)

    yeh theyre fairly **** theres nothing old skool about them, cylin round on there rad bikes.Heard they were ****e when they played here too.

    They were absolutely cat when they played here a few months back, I don't know a single person who thought the gig was good and everyone I've met who's heard the whole album agrees with me that it's garbage.

    Yeah I haev to say I read a review of the Bake Sale and it sounded decent enough so I bought it and I has extremely underwhelmed. Its one of the most repititive uninteresting albums I've ever bought, and I've bought my share of garbage hip-hop albums! Would definitely avoid this one!!!
