I'm sure we'll get a mention in a biography in 30 years when he gets to his aged deep and reminiscent stage of his musical career.

Q Magazine used to be cool, but they sold out about five years ago.

They all sell out eventually. Look at MTV.

    South Park is amazing.
It's like a fine wine. One of the only shows that is getting better with age.
Pandemic, The China Probrem, The Barrack episode.
They're all absolutely top quality television..

    Anyone else watching Season 12?

Really want to see that movie 'Quarantine'.
It will probably be an epic failfest but it looks good...
You should watch the original, [Rec]. Quarantine is supposedly a shot-for-shot remake, so it should be pretty much the same. Great show.
U better believe it. Me thinks it should be out right on time for xmas!! :pac:
    Yep, December 8th I believe. Gonna pre-order my blu-ray soon :D

I'm watching it and there have been some gems. The Barrack episode as you say was terrific. Overall though I don't think it has been as consistent as the last few seasons.

The first half was poor aside from the over-logging episode. However the last few episodes have been comedy gold

Over logging was one of the greatest things I've ever watched...."It's an ectoplasm"! :pac:

South Park is my favourite TV show. There is a misconception that its gotten miles better. Remember "Sexual harrassment Panda?" - Season 3 I belive, as well as Cat Orgy and some other classics. It's gotten more un-PC over time, making it great but it's always been hilarious tbh.

They've had some awfully sh*tty episodes in the last 2 series imo. They've run out of good things to satire so now are just picking random popular culture. The Pandemic episode was class though.

I loved the first half of Pandemic, but the second was awfully disappointing IMO.

There was a whole bunch of ghosts!

Yeah true. I really liked Craig over the course of the two episodes. He was just so no nonsense and straight to the point. Quality

    My Top 5:

    1) China Probrem
    2) Scott Tenorman Must Die
    3) Die Hippie, Die
    4) Make Love, Not Warcraft
    5) Over-Logging

As you can see their nearly all from the last few seasons. I do love the old episodes, I just think their getting better in their humour and the timing of their episodes..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

China Probrem number 1  Wouldn't be in my top 5, but I think most of mine would also be from recent seasons.

It was enjoyable, but I think there have been better this season. I couldn't help but feel deja vu with the Spielberg/Lucas combination (from a couple of seasons ago when they were taking the piss out out of the super special editions of movies with walkie talkies instead of guns :D )

Feck it, I can't do top 5. Here's my top 10 (not in order of favourites, I'd be here all night!):

    Over-logging (Season 12)
Night of the Living Homeless (Season 11)
Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy (Season 10)
Make Love, Not Warcraft (Season 10)
    Ginger Kids (Season 9)
    Awesom-o (Season 8)
Good Times With Weapons (Season 8)
Fat Butt and Pancake Head (Season 7)
Death Camp of Tolerance (Season 6)
Scott Tenorman Must Die (Season 5)

Holy crap, all this South Park talk and I forgot there was a new episode today. Yes! :D

Best South Park I ever saw was the one where all the 'Richers' moved into town and the locals started burning lower case t's in their garden's as it stood for 'Time to leave'. Genius.

Which was the one with Mr (Miss) Garrsson going to a bar called Les Bo's and all the persians come to kick them out.

D-Yikes. I left it out of my list with a heavy heart, fantastic episode. One of their best parodies IMO.

Yeah lets all dress up as ghosts to scare them..
Garrison at the end of that episode is quality:
"Well at least we got rid of all those damn ni-"

    :D
