Anyone heading down to Killarney this weekend?? I was at it last year and it was a great weekend heading off from Donegal at 6.30am in the morning to it!! The only spoiler for this is the clash with the European Championships but I can see early losers heading over to this some big names already out!!

Was down for the weekend terry jenkins did win he played some awesome darts only lost 1 set all day! He beat Andy Jenkins in the final. A good few pro's turned up (C.Lloyd,K.Painter,A.Smith,Van Gerwen,Dudbridge to name a few)not as many as last yr but next yr there changing the dates to the week after citywest so hopefully there will be no clashes with other tournaments on the tour. Van Gerwen won the irish masters on sat beating Kevin McDine on the last leg after bein 4-1 down in the final but the 2 semi finalists are gonna be players to watch out for Shane O'Connor and Jamie Caven 2 great pitchers!

O'Connor was excellent, very unlucky not to beat Van Gerwen and was excellent against Adrian Gray and Eccles, 2 big scalps. Another good Irish thrower was Garret Gray, Bet Colin Lloyd convincingly 3 - 0. Great weekend, my first time going there but most definitely not my last!

I was 2-0 up on Garret and 3-3 before losing 4-3 in the Irish Masters on Saturday it would have been a nice scalp if I had have won.

Yeah great stuff Carrickman, unlucky in the end. You must be a pretty good thrower! What round was that in?

Prem round, in fairness Garret wasen't at his best at times (he missed 9 darts in the first leg and I took out 116) but you need to take you chances against players like him when you get a chance, but still it was the best I played at one of these tournments in a while, regreat not taking it easy on Saturday night as I has a shocking match on Sunday morning but you live and learn from these things.
