    How many Inferno matches were there ? I can remember 3. Taker vs. Kane twice and a HHH v Kane on smackdown.

    Does anyone remember when they had Kane do his hands up in the air pyro thing in a steel cage ? And it "set the cage on fire"
    I thought that looked good. I daydreamed that they'd do an inferno cage match. Hah, lol, I'm sad :o

    Oh right, didn't know about that one. Nothing was as bad as that "human torch" match WCW booked with Sting and Vampiro. I think I still have one of them WCW PS1 games with that match on it

    When i seen the start of that with trips i thought that was the game! :eek:

    Also.

    Gamestop are doing a special. Pre-order the game on any format and get a free tee shirt, it has the game representations of the hardys and the SD v Raw logo on the back. Looks decent enough.

    and as well; They have a "Special exlusive limited golden super-de-duper version" for the ps3. Its just a different box that looks like a ring on its side.
    If they are charging extra its not worth it.

    Oh yeah..
    TBH, is that really going to make it that good tho.

    Nothing more boring than watching people playing the game. As i know from being eliminated out of so many games online :o

    Downloaded the demo of this yesterday on PSN.
    Pleasently suprised I must say compared to the last few outings. While nothing groundbreaking,it might be a good bit of fun to play(even if sometimes it seems like you just watching a squence of motion capture on the screen 5 mins after pressing a button).

    Might give the full game a go.

    This is off-topic but there's no point starting a thread or reviving an old one but...

    Why have the last 2 games made the wrestler's movements so slow ? And I'm still confused by the buttons and the moves . I loved the first Smackdown and each game built on the basics brilliantly but I find it very hard to enjoy SvR 2008. Usually I just have a few ECW matches then get bored

    In all honesty, your guess is as good as anyone elses.

    Think they just wanted to slow it down. I liked how TNA was quick, but the smackdown 09 game looks to have a bit of an improvment with speed.


    On another note;

    Why have they used some of the SAME animation as the last like 4 years!? Really grinds my gears.. :mad:

    Some majorly awesome news. I read on the Smacktalks forum yesterday that at the back of the instruction manual for SVR09 it explains how to import wrestlers from the Legends Of Wrestlemania to create a "dream match".

    How cool is that gona be? it would double the roster. sorry, dont have time to search for a link but the source is a guy on the IGN forums who's had the game for over a week now. he's been posting videos regulalry of different things in the game, as rewquested by people on the board, so it's pretty reliable source.

    According to the Wrestling Observer the game is very PG. WWE "are working so hard to clean it up that the game is almost a cartoon" and that "there are things for hardcore fans but it is largely a childrens game."

    This was written relative to previous games. The fact that they are working so hard to clean up game suggests that the game is a departure from previous outing and it is NOT "Just like the other games."

    Look at the presentation of the characters in this image they are a lot more friendly and cartoony looking this year.

    Some of the charachters look awesome and then there's a few that look like JBL.

    Think I'll hold off on this game until the Legends game comes out. Once I can creat Savage I'll be a happy man

    Thats because they are JBLs again as I pointed out when this was posted originally this was fan made. There has been additions to the line up since then.

    Going to leave it this year. Its a poor game to be honest. Re-hashed ideas but an updated roster.
    i like the idea of the create a finisher but thats 4 years too late .
    CAW is good but it takes too long to do now. Holding out for legends. From what i hear you might be able to port wrestlers from SVR to legends but this has not been confirmed yet. I hope not, i want Legends to be a different game . Just bought SVR 08 for 14 . Cant go wrong there .
