Driving on the M50 southbound today at around 5pm, there was a group of 4 artic's escorted by 4 or 5 gardai bikes and 5 or more army jeeps. Looked fairly important.

Any idea what the story was?

Could of been a delivery of cash from Europe. Did the trucks have foreign registrations?

Funny you say that , i saw the same escort last Thursday going by the old airport road. 4 bikes . 2 squad cars . 4 Haulage artics same company and 3 Army jeeps brimmed full of soldiers.

Maybe the government are secretly exporting all our national wealth for safe keeping in the bahamas :D
