Amazon shipping times vs. Play/The Hut?

Are the shipping times from Amazon.co.uk any better than the likes of Play.com or Thehut.com?

I'm going to preorder a couple of BluRays, Dark Knight and Wall-E and possibly Hancock but I'm trying to decide whether it's worth paying about an extra €7 to get them from Amazon. Generally speaking Play.com orders take about 10 - 12 days to arrive. The last two times I used the Hut, the items were listed as being in stock but I got emails about two days later saying they were waiting on stock from their suppliers and would ship them as soon as possible.

I'm presuming Amazon would be better stocked on release day. Can anyone tell me how long they generally take between ordering and delivery on DVDs or BluRays?
