F*ck - Johnny J is dead!!!

The famous latino hip hop producer committed suicide at the age of 39. Apparently he jumped off a ledge while serving time in an LA prison.

For those who don't know who I'm talking about, Johnny J produced a bunch of songs for 2pac and famously recorded nine tracks with him in only three days, including Life Goes On, How do U Want It, Thug Passion etc - Basically most of the All Eyez... album. He also did most of the tracks on Better Dayz and Until the End of Time.

This guy was "The 2pac producer" and his death is a tragic loss to the hip hop community. I just think its sad that his passing wont get as much attention than if he was a rapper. Producers are the quiet hard workers in the background whose work often goes unacknowledged by music fans.
