    Hey

I was just wondering if anybody could give me a bit of advice.
I am running direct 9.0c on my computer but the graphics card i have(Geforce 8800gts 320mb) can support direct x 10. Is it worth installing direct x10 on my computer.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Xp or Vista? Direct x10 is only available on Vista and will be there by default.

To be quite honest the only difference between the 2 is basically "light rays" or "sun rays" in game and "Shader Model 4".

You will need vista for Dx10. You wont notice much difference really Dx10 and Dx 9 really but theres no harm in try it out:)
