Where to find a Reproductive Endocrinologist in Ireland?

    My OBGYN knows very little about infertility and treatments for PCOS and I'm looking for a specialist. Thanks.

    Normally these would only be in the fertility clinics, such as the Merrion Fertility Clinic in Dublin which we attended.

    Thanks Silja. Do those centres deal with medications and treatments such as Clomid/Femara/Glucophage for those not yet at the IUI/IVF stage leading up to IUI/IVF?

    Yep, they would do all the testing from bloods and semen analysis over HSG to lap, and then decide on a suitable treatment for the couple, be that timed intercourse with trigger, medication such as metaforin and Clomid or IUI/ IVF/ICSI. You usually need a referal letter from your GP to attend a clinic, but a couple of the private ones will not require this (SIMS, Clane). There is usually a waiting list for first appointment of a few months but once you had that first appointment, treatment starts right away.
