Not at all Yogi! I've never shot proper macro shots, other than close ups of boring subjects. Been thinking about it for a while now so seeing your pics has made me get up off my ass and give it a try.

Thank god the Sun is back after yesterdays horrible weather. Just noticed the tree outside our front window is starting to get its autumn colours

Funnily enough we weren't going that quickly, most of them at 15-20mph tops, and nearly stopped at this one. Long exposures and the brains perception of what speed looks like do funny things!:)

These were taken as a camera club assignment/competition on long exposure with the camera clamped to the back window, me hanging onto the strap for dear life on the back seat, trying to make adjustments on the fly, Mrs. dakar driving and dakar jnr. (then aged 3) pitching in with advice from his car seat (eg 'good lights coming up Daddy, press it NOW!'). A real family affair and one of my first really dedicated attempts to get a particular shot instead of just having the camera around!
