Congratulations to all the "Reds" who are coming in in November...

Work hard and you will succeed, piss about and they will show you the door...

Look forward to seeing all the bewildered faces:D

cheers people, just done medical for c14 at start of week also so that's all stages of that now complete also, unless that vetting is going to take another 9 months although it overlapped c13 vetting by about 2 months so surely it was passed at same time, looks like ill just try and forget about it and see what happens (easier said than done)

Those starting in Ganerville in October or November, what sort of Merit score do you guys have? I'm trying to figure out if they start the highest scorers at the start, then work their way through the list and if that is the case, what score I need to be in with a chance of getting in!

New recruit, they will blend in with you guys then. Your all still looking bewildered. Chill out and enjoy the experience lol

Congratulations pal. It's been a long wait, so I'm sure it's as much of a relief as anything.

Out of curiousity, how'd you fair on the C14 merit list?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 104 ✭✭uncleneilly

didn't fair too well in c14 merit carlty, went into it half hearted and it showed, was in 500's although in saying that i've done my veting and medical 4 it so i think going on c13 intakes i probably would have got in with my community background

To all who received their merit scores today, regardless of placement; well done. This process is so hard and the ratio of success is so fine that nobody should feel that they have under achieved. You're all just magic in my teary eyes :)

I have to second that! Nobody should feel like their merit scores are "bad". I think alot more factors are taken into account too, so congratulations too all those who have come this far! I'll be seeing you all soon i hope!:D
