    Who would you talk to in the student union about getting information on carrying over a failed module to the next year?

    Just curious... why would the SU have anything to do with academic matters. Surely that's an issue to ask the faculty office and/or programme board chair about?

    Just looking for information on carrying over failed exam elements. Thought the SU can give you information on procedure and such.

    SU will just direct you to the faculty office/programme chair, so you might aswell save your own time and go straight there yourself.

    Having had plenty of experience with failure, I can tell ya that you're not able to progress to the next year without passing all modules so if you've failed one, you'll need go to register as a repeat student this year.

    Best bet is to either go to the registry or just check out your registration page online, it should give you the option to register as a repeat student.

    If you just wanna talk to someone about what to do next I suggest go seeing the chair of CA this year, whoever that may be.

    I know of people who have been allowed do that. I have no idea what the criteria for deciding it is.

    you should defintely just go and talk to the chairperson of your programme, theres no set criteria, but say for example if you did well in some similar subjects or got an alright overall average but went down in somethings, they might consider it, everyone has there reasons anyways so its worth giving it a try.
