OK - can you recommend a few chick-lit authors?

Well not sure if it I'd call any of this specifically chick-lit; but romance, relationships, affairs, modern love etc - Try Frederic Beigbeder 'Holiday in a Coma/Love last Three Years', also give Brett-Easton Ellis 'Glamorama' a go - aspects of chick-lit among other things . And for a classic try 'Tender is the Night' by F. Scott Fitzgearld.

But first try Beigbeder, my girlfriend is a Cosmo reading, Desperate Housewives watching girl and she swears by him, he's good.

I think she's pretty good! Not as good as Marian Keyes or Sophie Kinsella, but still entertaining! Lucky you :)
