2020km on one tank?

    any one know anything bout the new diesel peugeots with the HDi badge? can they really do 2020km on one fuel tank? can it do this in the real world or only under specific test conditions? was it achieved at 100kph or a slower speed to reduce fuel consumption? is it a normal sized tank or bigger then most? basically just wanna know if its too good to be true and if not can anyone recommend a car that will get very good mileage?

    AFAIK, it wasnt done "during testing". A couple drove across Australia, at a constant speed, in constant conditions, which allowed them to get this. Theoretically, a lot of cars can achieve a high amount of mileage.

    Cars can achieve figures like that if driven in conditions they were never meant to be driven in. A diesel city car crossing Australia- it would be stuck between the axles of an 18 wheeler. What good is your mpg then:D:D:D
