    Hey,

Big BF2 player, but moved to new location and have no landline BB.
Only have O2 BB, but am getting excellent up and download speeds considering.

Pings are pretty brutal though... but could I still play BF2 online?
Lost my DVD during the move, but would happily get a new one just to play Wake Island again!

    thanks

A stable connection is more important than ping count. Like, you can play the game ok with a 200 ping as long as its not jumping around.

What exactly do you mean when you say brutal?

    He means like terrible/rubbish

yeah mate i dont think it would be possible to play BF2 on that, Its a horrid laggy game, even with a low ping it can be crap sometimes, some servers give you lag aswell, not ping lag, just jerky lag cause they are poor for processing or overloaded

Off peak times, in servers with auto ping kicks above 250 and
    you should be ok.

Gone are the days when I used to play Quake 3 over a 56k modem. :pac:
