stay away from that programme Luke, destroy your pc/laptop, and Bearshare as well. As Bazmo said use Utorrent for getting torrents and scan them before opening the folder/zip file after download is complete,

Works a treat, cheers for that one antoinb :)

I Agree with Derra stay away from Limewire & Bearshare, or you will F**k up your computer up, If your going to use them , you have to watch what you D/L
If you use it a lot you will get to know witch files are virus's,

Use Utorrent or BitComet, both are safe

Just watch out some of the RAR and Zip files may contain Virus's..

Since that link for Red Records was posted, there is good activity on the torrent now, i assume its a few of us downloading it.
Speed is fairly decent now so maybe those of us that are downloading it can keep seeding it for few days to allow everyone to get bits of each other.
So don't remove the torrent from the list in Utorrent or whatever you are using if possible !

How it works is, while you are download it, someone else is Downloading it off your computer, the more computers with the torrent on there Hard drives, speed's up the torrent, If everybody had there computer's off the torrent won't download, people all over the world could be down loading the torrent..

Exactly, which is why i posted what i did, the torrent had not been active for a long time until that link was posted, did'nt select all the stuff in fear of people not seeding when they were done, got what i wanted anyway, sure who chose the mickey mac stuff lol

New video i posted on YouTube, took me long time to get an id on this one ,knew the tune for years but never got an id till recently, very similar to Datura-Yerba Diablo due to the fact that two of them in Datura are in this group as well. So i was searching for mixes of Yerba Diablo in the meantime  Warren K plays the Umatic mix alot, i uploaded the beatamax mix which is a cracker too :)
Leave a comment to bump it if yas can :)

I don't suppose you have the full version of this track Seany? Thanks for posting there - nice quality and all. I'll take any more if you have them!! :pac:

Had a listen to it and although its a good mp3 I have to apologise that I didn't realise its not a 'single'. I don't even know where I got it, probably from here on boards.
One thing I do know is that when I had a listen I sused right at the end this was ripped from a Sasha John Digweed mix cd which is actually class. I used to have it but its gone. Maybe some trainspotter recognises what I am talking about and posts a zip of the cd;)

Anyone go to the Sasha John Digweed nights in the Red Box, access all areas into the Pod and Chocolate Bar. Very very good.

PS: I posted up the link to that Red Records site a month ago or so, does that mean that these torent things get faster????
Can someone please fully explain these torents for me, ignorant to this am I.

Leechers - Those downloading the file and uploading but then not seeding and deleting the torrent, one less user to get bits off in future.
Seeders - Those providing the file for download after they have completed it and leaving the file there for some time for others to grab bits of the files.

If users download the torrent like the Red Records one and leave the torrent on their client (eg.Utorrent) and the file on their hard drive, other users be able to take bits off the files of the seeders and leechers. As your downloading you are also uploading to provide bits of the files that you received. Eventually becoming a seeder when ya have the lot.
Last month there was only one seeder to that torrent, now there is 2 and 3 leechers at this minute, so if you go to download the files the speed be quicker cause there is 5 users providing bits of the files, providing those computers are left on and the torrent client is on.
    Like a big jigsaw :)
    Google for more info :)
Not enough time to explain it , pm me if ya want it set up properly with ports open etc.

Cheers for all the memories men.
Been goin thru the thread for the last week, best read since Paul McGrath’s autobiography:D and has brought me right back, the Olympic was my home for the guts of 2 years(best years of my short life) and dont reckon they will be equalled. Recognised a few names in there along the way Skitz (serious blast from the past there) etc... Even made it out to his shed a few times. Was fcukin freezing if memory serves me(and not sure if it does anymore)

Did any of ya go to the Old Skool reunion gigs they had in the Red Box back in 2001, have to say was as close as I reckon I will ever get to the atmosphere of old.
Met a load of heads from times gone by.

Anyways cheers for all the downloads too, like the rest of ya, had most of these and were swiped, lost etc and thought i would never hear them again. Thankfully I was wrong

Stumbled across this website last weekend, I know ya all will enjoy, here is a taster, was at one of these Rezerection gigs meself in Scotland back in 92, unreal!!

    Carl Cox @ Rezerection 92:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?efze89ay5rm

    Here’s the website:
    http://ravers-choice.blogspot.com/

Here’s another serious stomper from the Olympic, dont think i have seen it posted up here but could be wrong:

Rhythm quest – Closer to all your Dreams (Happy Mix)

Rhythm quest – Closer to all your Dreams (Piano Mix)

Rhythm quest – Closer to all your Dreams (Delicious Mix)

Rhythm quest – Closer to all your Dreams (Trace Mix)

First time tryin to get these uploads done, so may not work so let us know

I asked this question while the thread was in its early days but didn't have any joy with so I'm hoping with more people looking I might get lucky.

I had a tape ages ago, probably 95/96 - it was either Mick Walsh or Pressure, but beyond that I can't remember what it was. I always thought it was a Pressure tape, but can't remember. Anyway, what I do remember was that it ended with that Linear Logic : It's Not Over tune. That was the last tune on the mix and it's the only one I know the name of.

If anyone can remember this mix and point me in the direction of it I'd be eternally grateful as it would bring back some pretty class memories!

Some Internet Service Providers Block your ports on you,
You can test if your ports are blocked....
normally done in the menu of the P 2 P software you installed.

Just create a static ip address and forward a port on your router:)
    http://portforward.com/
Find your router, then find Utorrent/soulseek or whatever program ya want, to open the ports follow the instructions..

I tryed to do that a while back, but could not find my router on http://portforward.com/

I gave up in the end , I was using Bitcomet changed to Utorrent, problem sorted.. Utorrent seems to be the best..
