I am trying to help my 2 neighbours as Eircom has said they can't get BB.
The 3 houses are on a rural lane and come off the same ESB transformer; distance less than 100 m.
Would any of the "homeplug" products enable me to use ethernet?
    Thanks.

No as you are not on the same ring main powerline adaptors won't work for you, if the distance is not more than 90m then I'd suggest an STP ethernet cable, measure the distance exactly to be sure, "about 100m" can widely vary. If the total distance to the neighbours houses is not over 90m then running an STP cable would be the most stable option, following that you can use a wireless link, if that's what you decide to use then come on over to Wireless and we'll sort you out.
