trying to connect my PC to my TV

just built a computer and have a 17" monitor, but i'm trying to connect it to my TV which is a Toshiba REGZA 37" as i put a blue ray drive in the computer and want to use it as a media centre. but when i hook it up to the TV it gives me video not supported. is there any way around this

what connection are you using? just dvi is it?

Get a DVI-HMDI adapter and use that. Easiest way.
