    Hi lorweld...
I'm with shop and scan and have been since April this year. I love it and find it worthwhile. You won't make millions off it but in a year I'd say you'd easily make 10,000 points (of which 6000 you get for scanning your shopping every time you shop - they allocate you 500 monthly points), you get 1000 points for scanning your first shop when you join them, another 500 points after 6 months, extra points for scanning your Christmas shopping and more points for the main household shoppers birthday. That's not including extra points earned for completing online/postal surveys from them, this varies but would usually be about 300 points each one, and 500 points for each person you refer to them and provided these people sign up and scan their shopping, like you, this is the way to collect points.
It's very easy to do (I've adopted my own little way to suit me)and you can redeem your points in vouchers, useable at various outlets.
If you want any more info, or if anyone else reading this does, feel free to post back or PM.
    Thanks,
    Fiona.

OK just a tip, not strictly completely free. The Daily Mail is giving away free 80's music CDs this week, and The Sunday Times is giving free Hitchcock DVDs of his early movies (black and white) the first one was last week.

    http://www.lenshoods.co.uk/ Interesting idea!

This site offers free printable cardboard lens hood for Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Minolta and Sigma camera lenses

Not sure if this is a good idea or not to be honest.

For anyone who wants to make their freebie form filling quicker and easier, there's a software package called Roboform that places a toolbar in IE/Firefox, you put your details in once, then anytime you come to a page with a form on it, click one button, and they're all filled in :)
