Clay pot making in Ireland

    Mods I've posted this in AH (I thought it was a good idea :o)

    Anyway I'd like to do some clay pot making with the spinning wheel.

    Any idea where I can do that around Ireland?

    Where are ye?

    There's a night class in St.Tiernans college near dundrum. They've mostly got manual kick wheels but they do have 1 electric wheel.

    Other than that, I'm useless to ya.

    The Trinity Arts Workshop (Trinity College) used to do classes/ workshops and they had a couple of wheels. These might help: http://www.taw.tcdlife.ie/time.htm

    If you're not based in Dublin, perhaps your local library might have some information. Alternatively, some secondary schools have pottery wheels in their art rooms, so it could be worth your while to contact the teachers.
