I'm basically looking for 2 rooms in Dublin at the minute, near DCU.(If anyone knows anything...)

But i'm finding the availability of ones being offered a little thin. Will there possibly be more rooms offered, or about the same amount on Wednesday when the LC results are out?
I mean, are landlords holding off advertising houses until after wednesday, when the rooms have a better chance of being rented?

Or should i just try get whatever i can before Wednesday?

    Good luck with your search.

Accommodation in Dublin can be hard to come by especially in a decent condition at a decent price, most students have probably got their accommodation arranged for a while now, keep searching!

Extremely unlikely - landlords will simply advertise as soon as a room is available, for them there's no reason to keep a room vacant.

From what I have seen, although there is plenty of professional accommodation available in Dublin at the moment, the amount of student-oriented accommodation has decreased significantly in the last 2 weeks. I'd try to get it sorted as soon as possible. You will have far more competition from Wednesday onwards.

For DCU, your might need to look a little further away, maybe on one of the frequent bus routes (19A, 11, 4, 13/13A etc). Take a look here:

    Best of luck.
