Is 3 Screen Gaming possible without TripleHead2Go?

    Is 3 screen gaming possible without a TripleHead2Go adapter?

    TH2G limits to a certain resolution and also its fairly expensive.

    I know TH2G has some nice software that overlays game data (Score, Health, Speedometer etc) onto the center screen so the stretched look is avoided, but I was hoping that by adding in a 2nd GPU ( in SLI or Crossfire ) and maybe twweaking some of the game setup files I would be able o get 3 screens at 1920*1200.

    Has anyone any experience of this kind of setup?

    I dont think so. My first thought of course is *Overkill* and my second thought is only a select number of games are designed to span across even 2 monitors - I think one of them was Total War. You can run the game in a window and stretch it across, of course.

    Yes it works in a lot of games, the Triple head 2 go just fakes a single monitor afaik.. So if you connected three 1280*1024 monitors to the Triple head 2 go, the OS will see a single 3840*1024 monitor
