Hi.Does anyone know if broadband is likely to be available in this area and how far it is from shannon roughly. Thanks.

Cree is about 30 miles from Shannon.
Try here to check for broadband. It lists the usual DSL providers, but you'd have to get a local phone number to check in the online checkers.
