    Suggestions for father of the Groom speech.

    Google for them, there are lots of templates out there that will give you a good start.

    Generally, tell some stories about the groom when he was growing up, compliment the bride and welcome her to the family. If her parents are helping out with the expenses, then thank them for that. If you are helping out then welcome the guests. If you have friends or family travelling, you may want to thank them. I think you finish by toasting the couple.

    For what it's worth, it's probably the easiest speech on the day.

    sorry for hopping onto this, but who does the father of the groom speach if he is deceased, An uncle, or is it the mother of the groom?.

    That's really up the groom I reckon. I've been at weddings where the mother has made the speech, and one where a brother did. I've also been at wedding where the father of the groom didn't speak at all.
