I sent an email to a friend a few days ago and that happened. I sent another one to a relative in England and she said she never got it but I may have sent it to hotmail.com instead of .co.uk. I definitely sent it to the right address so I think it went into her junk folder.

Is there anything I can do about this?

the captcha systems for some popular email providers such as gmail,hotmail + yahoo have apparently been cracked and alot of spam is being sent from these providers.

maybe there is an option/filter rule in hotmail which you can use to "allow messages from" + your gmail address?
