Dumped when I wasn't even in a relationship

I received a text at about midnight, a big long rambling text from a girl i hadn't seen in about a month and well basically i was dumped, it said I'm a lovely fella but she's still in love with some guy who has gome off to australia and isn't ready for a relationship bla bla bla bla
this was funny coz although i have been dumped before, being dumped by someone who i wasn't even aware i was going out with was quite a surprise for me and indeed a first, i've only been out with her twice, each time meeting a big huge gaggle of her drunken mates who proceeded to tell me that they were very protective of her and basically interrogated me all night with questions, i do not jest here, such as "are you a rapist?", i'm sure this drunken gaggle of women thought this was a great laugh and i hardly batted an eyelid coz i am used to hysterical and irrational drunken women and basically all i wanted to do was bang the bird i was out with so i tolerated the mates....anyway i did bang her, the sex was rubbish, i was too drunk, she was too self-conscious about her body and we left it at that
she was at a hen night last weekend and sent me a text at about 3am saying she had received a dare to see if guys with ginger hair were ginger all over, and she needed my advice what to do
i told hair if she is into ginger pubes then go ahead

anyway to cut a long story short after receiving this text last night, i replied saying oh but what about the wedding ring i had just bought for us, will i get a refund etc etc basically satirising her whole melodramatic take on our "relationship"
she replied with "oh it's great that you are so cool with THIS"
i wasn't even aware of what THIS is, anyway i could have got all riled and accused her of being a bit demented and in need of some kind of fcuked up ego boost but i just let it go-however being dumped by someone i am not even going out with, well i'm mystified
