Forgot Wii password!!

    My nephew "protected" my Wii with a password and I can't go on-line anymore. He doesn't remember it. I just bought and SD card to save my saves but can't format the console since it's asking me for the god forsaken password. Does anybody out there know a way around this?

    Do a system update, even if you've done one recently. It always asks you to set up parental controls after an update, so I resume updating clears your parental settings.

    That won't work unfortunately, JBoyle.... wouldn't be much protection, would it? :)

    Cranberro - go on to the screen with the parental controls, and click the forgot password option to get a special code. Normally you have to go to Nintendo with this code to get the reset code, but if you go to this page, can bypass the phonecall - just put in your code and click "Get Reset Code".
