What channel do you watch in the mornings?

I was flicking through the channels and came to Ireland AM. The lady presenter (no idea who she is, now) was apparently asking a question and so I left it on, wanting to hear what the question was, it had something to do with crime.

Anyway, on and on she goes with no sign of getting to the end of the question. I got bored of it and wanted to opt out but then I thought "No, I've invested a good minute and a half into this, I want to know what the question is" so listened to her continue the worlds longest question.

In the end I just thought "Nevermind, I'll be late for work at this stage" and flicked away.

What channel does everyone else watch in the mornings?

Voted other for the simple fact I dont watch TV in the morning! Otherwise I'd be still there watching it :)

Only watch maybe 10 mins if I'm lucky, but usually TV3..

That presenter you watched is a fill in for Sinead Desmond who suffered a brain hemmorage (sp?) at the studios a couple of weeks ago.

I can't think of her name, but she's doing a much better job than Sinead usually does. No disrepect, hope she recovers well and is back.

TV in the morning is for the kind of people who drink in the morning.

    Mike.

Don't know why but sky news is the morning channel of choice!
    Then disovery 2nd.
However if both are muck it'll be a remote race around channels.
Why be late for work when you know that when you get into work TV is available to be watched.

Sky news or BBC news. Then maybe a bit of TV3 or channel 6.

If you can read this, you're too close!

Pighead doesn't watch any television in the mornings. Ever since they got rid of Gyles Brandreth and that weatherman bloke who used to jump from England over to N.Ireland and sometimes fall in thus making Pighead laugh uproarously, morning television just hasn't been worth watching. Anyway don't any of you fcukers work?

seriously folks if y've time to watch telly in the mornin then just go back to bed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

    Well said Mahatma Coat.

When it comes down to choosing between watching some haggard washed up old bint sitting on a sofa trying to keep her eyes open whilst looking happy and going to bed to dream about Dudess and Terry having illicit drunken boards beers power sex whilst Pighead watches from a slightly ajar wardrobe there can only be one winner.

Throw your televisions out the window people.

Why not watch TV from the bed. Combine the two!

Because he's an impoverished student who doesn't know where his next meal is gonna come from. Television in the bedroom? No chance. He's lucky to have a bed in his bedroom.

Sky News while ironing the shirt...their 'banter' between the different presenters really cracks me up!

Main News Fella: "So, the football eh? Spain scored a goal huh! Yeah!"

Token Female Sports Presenter: "They did indeed Gary!"

Sky News on in the back ground while preparing breakfast. Sometimes Newstalk via the TV and my beautiful Dodgy Box.

Is Pighead too busy to iron his own shirts? It must take a lot of effort to sustain your internet forum gimmick...

Listen here Mr Domestic Goddess. Just because Pighead doesn't iron his own shirts doesn't give you the right to call him a "gimmick" Whatever next? Will you be calling John Wayne a spanner because he never embroidered his old cowboy jeans? Or maybe you'll e giving Paul O'Connell hassle because he doesn't skip rugby training in order to cook you and your little friends fairy cakes for your afternoon tea parties.

No Peadar, its time to face up to the issues at hand here. Its you that has the problem, not Pighead.

Ok then, who should I get to iron my shirts? It'd be more effort to get them to the launderette than do it myself. Does Pighead get mummy to run the iron over his clothes?

If it's not a gimmick then what is it? Mental issues? Megalomania?

Listen here Mr Harry Househusband, the only gimmick around here is you and your iron.
From now on you'll be known as Iron Man. And not the cool type of Iron Man either.

    No instead of this:

I'm more into extreme ironing, somewhat like this:

I find it wakes me up in the morning. You, on the other hand, sound like you need a nice little "Wake up, sweetie-pie" and a gentle shake from mummy-kins.
