anyone know any good bands in galway, not kif,pyramid or weightless astronaughts as they are booked out and seem to be the most popular

We're going with the Brian McDermott Band, they're based in Sligo but will travel to Galway free.

We booked the Brian McDermott band for our wedding in Adare last year, and could not have been happier with them. We live in Boston and had quite a few folks come over from the States, and there was universal agreement from Irish and Americans, young and old, that the band and particularly Brian himself were fantastic. In addition to the very high quality of their performance, they were great to deal with and very professional. My advice would be to grab them if they're available.
