Calling all Crocheters'

I don't see a thread on this anywhere so here it goes. Can anyone recommend any website with easy to understand crocheting patterns all I seem to find is poncho's which I've done. I've also done (Afgans) Blankets. What I'm primarily after is a bit more of a challenge. I can blow a bit hot and cold with crocheting in other words I have to have the urge to actually want to do it, and I'm feeling that urge building.

Also could anyone recommend any good wool shops with a good selection of colours in the Cork, Kilkenny, Wexford, Dublin well you get what I saying. The ones in Waterford seem to have an endless stock of the same pastel colours.

Regarding yarn: afair in one of the arcades off Patrick Street in Cork, there is a tiny little old fashioned wool shop. It might be worth a look.

In Dublin, there's springwools and thisisknit.
