Evening Ceremony - what to give?

Hi - my partner and have been invited to the evening ceremony of a wedding next month. ( we don't really know the people). We would like to go, but I'm not sure what you give in that situation. Should I give cash, if so what's an appropriate amount? Thanks for your help!

I would be inclined to give a present if you are going to the evening part. maybe about €50-70 mark
