 Always good to see a fellow strength-training runner (though I'm not much of a runner these days, especially compared to the milage you're putting in!) I just keep the weight challenging, and round the 8-10 rep range, that way i seem to get 'pleasant' (this may not be the right word!

It means you can still go running the next day
