My cousin had it at her wedding, wasn't a drunken waiter, she had a drunken uncle (hired), went down a storm, everbody was shocked at first but it turned into a good comedy show.......he was very good, read up on all the guests firsts....

has to be better than that riverdance crew at weddings....

also suggest a hot whiskey reception...

Hah, I was at one there last weekend with a drunken priest. Seems he's got terminal cancer, and just doesn't give a fig any more. Twisted, couldn't get his car in the gate before the ceremony.

That sounds absolutely hilarious! I think its fantastic that people can be a bit lighthearted on their wedding day- particularly love the drunken waiter idea!

I had never heard of it myself, but obviously its a side-show gag for the venue.. and with a clicky of the mouse..

    Google is your friend ;)

Well, I'd assume that the act would happen toward the beginning / middle of the evening - where everyone is just happy.

Its a gag, a funny, people attending the wedding in general dont pretend to be pissed, they are pissed.

Its to catch someone / people out for the amusement.

I never knew about this tbh, and if I had of - I would have done this myself. In fact, with 7wks to go - Im going to see if I can swing it. My Mother is going to be on the receiving end of this if I can do it, she complains about everywhere she goes. The food, the service etc. Top idea.

    Thanks OP! :pac:

My parents were at a wedding last year and there were two actors there; they were a couple not sure if they were drunk but they thought it was great.
