Back to the personal trainer in the morning !

O my god, I am sooooo dreading it especially since I am now on my second bottle of vino ! Anyone been training yet? I need to lose about a stone to feel fitter but I dare say he will having me sweating like a rapist tomorrow! Prob lose a stone then threw sweat and throwing up lol.

Couldn't have put it better myself. She seems to have become the forum's mascot or something.

I hope she does well. This place wouldn't be the same without her. Her enthusiasm is catching.

Hi everyone this is my first post i've been reading the forum for quite a while but never joined in. I'm just getting myself ready for my AC today and believe me nervous wouldnt be in it, i just hope i can remember all the great advice i've read on here when it comes down to the moment of truth! Wish me luck!!!

Hey all, great thread, very helpfull. Im travelling over from England in July for assessment centre, does anyone know if they take people for from Northern Ireland first or does it not matter where you are from?

If you're an EU-resident, pass everything and are high enough up the merit list, you'll get in (subject to 50;50 etc). I think that's it in it's simplest terms. I don't think there's allowed to be any discrimination as to where exactly in the EU you come from.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong though.

Hey all, had a good bit of reading to do today as i havent been on since end of May :P

its been great to hear about people going for AC's now. Cant wait to heat PYG's report on what she thought of today.

Consensia got back to me a couple days ago with my rescheduling of my A/C.
i had been put down for late july but i was on holidays on that date.

Thankfully i now have my A/C in the first couple weeks in August.

I cant believe it when i say this, its 2 months away.... such a long wait!

Well this is just a wee message to say i survived the old AC, and that i will fill you all in later (to a certain extent). Off to get ready for work!!!

Ps Il keep my "animation" till after 10:30pm, so roll up, roll up for the magic ride through a day in the life of PYG at the AC, Coming soon to all computers near you (ie the one your using!!)

Good afternoon all,

Just received a lovely little PM from our friend stote21.
Name calling, In factual about ages etc etc.
Some how I am 40 plus? When actually I am 33 but hey he knows better. I don't have a career, When actually i run my own business and it will still be running with my sister taking on command when I go to Garnerville O and also I am a fat alcoholic.
So just be warned people. This is the kind of person we will be dealing with once successful. O my god, Can you imagine that stote21 thing becoming a police officer!! He/she really shows the correct temperament for the job that's for sure.NOT!

PYG Hope you got on well today?

Don't put any wine in the fridge MGH.
You will be classed an 'alco' as it was so lovely put by stote21.lol.

Actually stote21 will be good for our training. If we learn to put up with the insults from he/she then we should all make good police officers.

Alan, I had the little so and so ranting to me in a PM last week. Telling me all kinds I won't repeat. I laughed it off. His attitude will be his undoing.

O My God

I was certainly put threw my paces today. Did the old interval training. 3 mins fast sprint-1 min cool down then 3 mins cross trainer-1 min cool down 3 mins rowing-hate it hate it hate it big time-1 min cool down and finally 3 mins cycling -1 min cool down. repeated this then again for 2 mins durations with 30 seconds cool down and then 1 min repeated and 30 secs cool down.
Doesn't seem like much but O My God. I could hardly walk after it all lol. It will be worth it in the end. Going again on wed and then Sunday. 3 times a week I am going right up to august-so hopefully be like sly stallone by then he he.
