About 9 times out of ten I have been unsuccesful connecting to multiplayer

I have a router, but I have forwarded all neccesary ports, it's on a netgear.
Why is it still not working for me? Advice would be great, is quite annoying.
Edit: I have the game for Xbox also.

Are you with eircom? If so,

Go to your router homepage which is more than likely http://192.168.1.254/

Click on firewall on the left hand side and double check that your level is set to low. If not, thats your problem

Mine's set on medium and I'm having no problems since I've switched to Nat 1.

    Nah, I'm Ntl. Thanks anyway

For those who check their nat in network settings, does it say, strict, moderate whatever?

Mine says open, so i can't understand it...
