Men prefer being solo over a bad marriage?

    Brothers and brotherettes,

Here is a link to the article, http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080602/lf_nm_life/books_bachelors_dc
However I couldn't care what is in it, could be flying badgers for all I care (if there were flying badgers in the article I would read it, or at least look at the pics)

So what in your wise opinions is the root cause of a bad marriage?
Here are a few I have come up with...

    - Poor cooking skills in the form of burned rasher sandwiches? - Lets pray this never occurs, consequences too horrific.

    - Beer not being kept at optimum temperature? Warm beer is not drinkable.

Not one to be labeled a sexist, men can be at fault too for a poor marriage (I think)

Such heroic acts like drinking too much, being hungover, hanging with the guys, watching sports, not paying the wife enough attention (this I can understand why some ladies would get annoyed)

For the batchelors amongst us, whats holding you back?
Me, I'm not even considering marriage, marriage leads to binding contractual agreements, and even worse! Kids! Plus I'm 22, good few years left in me :pac:

Also, besides the obvious things like excellent rasher sambos etc what makes a good marriage?

But I know the secret of a good marriage.

When I walk in the door after a hard day at the orifice, I ensure I have a sign tied around my neck that reads "Do not talk to me for the next 30 minutes".

Fear of being alone drives some men and women into marriage and some are not to fuusy what ever the game plan /rules are but advancing age will have a lot to do with it to :D

Absolutely. I'd much prefer to be alone that in a crappy marriage. I made the mistake of staying in a crappy relationship for 2 years when i knew it was a dead donkey. No more. Its also why I dont want kids... what happens if things go south after the wife has popped out 2/3 junior helimachoptors...

Thats a lot of pressure to stay as a family unit.

Yes , some people put more into, and work harder to make there marriage and relationships work .It was quite common years ago for people to stay in unhappy marriages simply because there was no other option available .

We all know that what women really want is a good man to listen to them .

Just give her your ear for a hr or so (before any other part of your anatomy ) and she will reward you with all the blow jobs ya want ;)

I'd actually rather a bloke that just stayed shut. ok ok, I'll accept a ''good morning'' or ''good night'' or ''what do you want next, love'' but other then that. silence. dont even tell me how awesome I am. I already know like.

When low fat milk appears in the fridge and the fig rolls and beer are suddenly gone from the shopping list because "you two are on a diet" your life is over.

Lol Do some wimmens actually do that? rawwly like?

I'd want to keep the guy I first hooked up with, not drain the life out of him and change him beyond recognition.

I can safely say my fridge has full-fat milk, kerrygold and fry food etc in it. Id rather croak it than live on diet food. If you are having the sex you started out having, you should work it off no problem :pac:
